 Transfer List Of Top Players To Join Christiano Ronaldo In Saudi Arabia

This Summer transfer window has been greeted by a surprise wind sweeping top European stars to Saudi Arabia, making the Saudi Pro league a focal point to look at in the coming season. Here we take a sneak peek at the done deals and those that are still in the offing according to www.espn.com

1. One of the signings touted as the biggest so far is that of the 35-year old France International and current ballon d'or holder Kareem Benzema who is on free transfer from 14-time European champions Real Madrid to two-time Asian champions Al Ittihad on a two-year contract worth €400million.

2. The Next big name on the list is French midfielder Ngolo Kante who has bade farewell to his 7-year home at Stamford Bridge to join French team mate Kareem Benzema at the Jedda based club Al Ittihad on free transfer worth €86million per annum for a four-year deal.

3. 31- year old winner of the 2021 Champions league and  UEFA men's goalkeeper award with Chelsea Edouard Mendy will be plying his trade at Jeddah based club Al Ahli at £16m. The Senegal Goalkeeper has signed a three year deal with the Saudi outfit.

4. Wolverhampton captain Ruben Neves has been welcomed at one of Asia's most successful club Al Hilal in a €55million transfer deal after signing a three-year contract.

5. Yet another wooing by Saudi Arabia in Stamford Bridge has seen Chelsea defender Kalidou Koulibaly join Al Hilal on a three-year deal. The 32-year-old Senegal defender who just joined Chelsea from Napoli last summer has been offered £17million.

YET TO BE CONCLUDED TRANSFERS

1. PSG forward Neymar who has been away for most of the season due to injury has caught the eye of Al Hilal. However it is not yet certain if the 31-year old Brazil International is ready to leave Europe.

2. Moroccan world Cup semi finalist Hakim Ziyech might be joining Christiano Ronaldo whom he eliminated in the quater finals in Qatar. Al Nasser are still in talks in a bid to secure the 30-year old from Chelsea.

3. At the end of his contract at Liverpool this month, Roberto Firmino  might be joining Al Ahli as a free agent. Talks have gotten to advanced stage to land the Brazillian superstar in Saudi Arabia.

4. Manchester City midfield sensation Bernardo Silva amidst being courted by Paris Saint Germain and Barcelona   has been linked with a likely move to join his international teammate Neves at Al Hilal. Silva is however yet to make his decision public yet.
